Have you ever thought about what you 'do' in your mind to be convinced of something? Think about something you once believed to be certain, and then you changed your mind and you are now certain about something else. For example, I was once convinced that working for a large corporation was the best way for me to make money and gain job satisfaction, I never ever dreamed that I would run my own business, let alone businesses! Now when I look back on the certainty I held about working for someone else, I smile to myself.
So at what point did I make a decision to switch my certainty? For me it was through gaining knowledge. After attending a 'start your own business course', I was suddenly standing in the realms of possibility of having my own business because I had some new information. The presence of new information opened up possibility and prompted me to take action. Once you know what you are convinced of, how that feels, looks or sounds, imagine what you can do with that strategy for making other decisions. This is officially now just over the half way mark on the NLP Master track with Paul McKenna Training here in London. Tell me what you are convinced about and how you make yourself convinced? Once you know this, you can be certain of stimulating changes. More tomorrow.
